The award categories are grouped in four focus discipline areas:
The annual Tanzania Tour Guide Awards provide an opportunity to showcase the best of national tourism service providers as well as promote, encourage and reward tourism excellence. Tour operators, Travel Agent, Tourists, Hotels, Guides Associations are allowed and encouraged to submit one entry in multiple categories in Tanzania Tour Guides Awards nomination.
AWARDS NOMINATION
The awards nominations are free to enter, and there is a limit to the number of nominations that can be submitted or categories that can be entered.
You MUST confirm that the person being nominated, or the main, named representative of the company being nominated, have been informed of the nomination and are content to have their names submitted.
These Awards are open to all who wish to nominate their employee and understand how important the guides, chef and porters are to their business as well as to our tourism industry. This is their big recognition and honor outside their working boundaries.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into or feedback given regarding the selection of shortlisted nominations or winners.

- Receiving a very prestigious national best tour guide award that highlights a company and an individual great potential for development in the “tourism” market.
- Receive an honor or Recognition for the excellence services.
- Benefit from a web page on the website www.tourguideawards.org, which collects all award- winning individuals and companies over the years.
- Ability to use the Tanzania Tour Guide Awards Certified logos for promotional purposes.
